I am an Israeli-American entrepreneur, inventor, investor, founder and CEO of eLearning tech startups. As daughter of educators, I was inspired to become a learning theorist and education system disruptor.
In the past 20 years, I’ve built amazing networks with young and established entrepreneurs, mentors and investors, in tech-ecosystems and accelerators that I know well and excited about in the USA, Europe, Africa, China, and Israel.
As an entreprenuer and founder/CEO of four companies, advisor to fifty, and investor in seven, I am constantly inspired by entrepreneurs, their ideas, drive and passion to make their dreams come true. I enjoy supporting their learning, watching them solve big problems that matter, and helping them grow to do great things in the world.
I love helping founders/CEOs, especially women, navigate from their inspirational vision to a valuable and successful impact venture.
I know from experience that mobilizing entrepreneurship and innovation into action must include smart leadership AND technology products, dynamic platforms and powerful data-tracking systems.
I’ve been always passionate about helping startup founders and accelerators’ management teams in identifying emerging entrepreneurial opportunities and meaningful problems to solve that should be on their agendas as they grow and improve their company-wide business practices.
I love helping founders/CEOs recruit and retain best talent, create a positive culture of fun and wellness, and build tech products and platforms to do their job better.
I am a proud alumna of Tel Aviv University, the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and MIT Media Lab. For many years, I’ve been leveraging technology to improve learning, human development and leadership, and improving education has been my life’s work, merging cognitive science, computer science, and learning science in my theory-making, research, commercial products and business practices.
My own entrepreneurship has been driven by my belief that computer science and design thinking are the new literacy that drive innovation and entrepreneurial thinking, and are essential mindsets for success in the knowledge economy.
Understanding how coding works and how digital technology is made is the requisite global language for success in our digitally-connected world.
My mission is to help leap entrepreneurs everywhere into innovative 21st-century thinking. That is why I founded my Gazelle Consulting firm, and prior to that the digital learning platform Globaloria.
I love building technology platforms and teams and lead joint commitment to invent new ideas and disrupt education to make the world a better place.
I’ve also helped and served on advisory boards and committees of national and international education organizations, media companies and universities (e.g., PBSKids, MIT Media Lab, CUNY Macaulay’s Honor College, MEET, TIG, to name a few).
Most importantly, I am dreaming of a world of equality, peace and harmony. I have three awesome children, who have been teaching me so much every day. And I love to spend time with my family, practice yoga, ride my bicycle, experience art and music, and write articles that inspire people of all ages to understand their opportunities and potential in making an impact in their communities, countries, and globally. Here’s some of my publications and blogs (IditHarel.com/publications).
