"Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand."

I am an Israeli-American entrepreneur, inventor, founder and CEO of education technology startups. The daughter of educators, I grew up to be a learning theorist and education disruptor. A proud alumna of Tel Aviv University, Harvard Graduate School of Education and MIT Media Lab, leveraging technology to improve education has become my life’s work.
I believe that computer programming is the new literacy. Understanding how coding works is the requisite global language for success in our digitally connected world. My mission is to leap education into the 21st century. That is why I founded the digital learning platform, Globaloria, to teach children how to learn in an entirely new way. I love my team and our joint commitment to disrupt education with Globaloria.
Globaloria cultivates fluency in computing through game design, which turns the study of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) into an immensely engaging and collaborative experience. School districts around the USA have found that students who engage with Globaloria courses make great strides in STEM content mastery as well as creative and critical thinking. It makes me proud. Find us on Twitter and Facebook.
I also help and serve on advisory boards and committees of national and international education organizations, media companies and universities (e.g., PBSKids, MIT Media Lab, CUNY Macaulay’s Honor College, MEET, TIG, to name a few).
Most importantly, I am dreaming of a world of equality, peace and harmony. I have three awesome children, who have been teaching me so much every day. I live in New York City, and when I’m not CEO-ing, I love to spend time with my family, practice yoga, ride my bicycle, and write articles about harnessing technology to improve education and inspire young people to understand their opportunities and roles in the global knowledge economy.
